It was a dream come true for 1.2 billion people of India on 2nd April'2011 when Indian cricket team finally defeated Srilankans in the world cup final'2011 at Wankhade stadium, Mumbai and captured the WORLD CUP.We finally got the real charm on our face after WORLD CUP'1983 when India captured the world cup under the captaincy of the legend Mr.KAPIL DEV.
We just can't forget an adage "When the going gets tough,The tough gets going." and so India repeated the history of 1983 world cup.It took almost 28 years for us to recapture the same.It all happened due to balanced Indian cricket team under the captaincy of Mr.Mahendra Singh Dhoni.We cannot ignore any individual player of India because they all have contributed their best to achieve the same.The great Sachin, Sehwag, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Virat, Raina, Gambhir, Zaheer, Munaf, Nehra, Ashwin, Yusuf and all.As far as the consistency among all these we find Yuvraj Singh the Real Hero of world Cup'2011 as he performed very great in all the matches from the beginning of world cup. He was honored by "the Man of the Tournament" followed by Man of the match awards 4 times consistently.
However we got the World Cup & its really great.We are proud to be an Indian.WE LOVE INDIA.......
